In the Book of Mormon, Mosiah 15:28 prophecies a time when "the salvation of the Lord shall be declared to every nation, kindred, tongue, and people". This verse holds much significant relevance to the world today, where technology and human migration have made it possible to reach the corners of the Earth.
One way the gospel has reached the vast corners of the Earth is through social media. Missionaries now can connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures. Through online outreach, they can share the message of hope, peace, comfort, and the love of our Savior with a worldwide audience, fulfilling the prophecy in Mosiah 28.
Another fascinating aspect of this prophecy is one that I have had first-hand experience with. In recent decades, there has been a big migration of Chinese citizens to different countries. This migration aligns with the scripture words that the gospel will be declared to every nation, kindred, tongue, and people. While serving as a missionary in Australia, I had the privilege to teach the gospel to those of Asian countries who had never before heard of God. What a beautiful and sacred experience.
The scripture in Mosiah serves as a poignant reminder of the global declaration of salvation. In today's world, the use of Facebook and social media and the migration of those from countries unable to learn about Christianity contribute to the fulfillment of the prophecy. The Lord's message will reach every nation, kindred, tongue, and people. He finds a way when the way often seems impossible.
